4th JAFFNA, JAFFNA HINDU COLLEGE SCOUT TROOP community warmly welcomes you to the web portal for all well wishers of JHC Scouts, living around the world. JHC Scouts, established in 1910, is a premier scout troop in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Known island-wide as Jaffna Hindu Scouts, it is the citadel of Scouting. The scouts, of 4th Jaffna Scout troop, are inculcated with the scouting way of life, high discipline, unstinted dedication, and excellent character. The distinguished Alumni of this prestigious Scout troop have held and are holding high positions of responsibility in Sri Lanka and in countries where they are domiciled.

               Our Scouts have excelled as Engineers, Accountants, Judges, Scientists, Doctors, Attorneys-at-law, Bankers and Entrepreneurs. They have been outstanding in Scouting as well, leading the District Schools in  Scouting.

               The scholarly principals, the high caliber of GSL, SL, Trainees, and their dedicated services in the past and the present, have thrust the troop,to the forefront in scouting in Sri Lanka.
